Being evil has a price
Written as Matteo Riddle. MATURE THEMES AHEAD.
He was unhinged, Psychotic. He had murdered people for fun and tortured them for sexual pleasure. Matteo Riddle was a name that those who knew dared to speak. He had tormented families, being the reason they fell apart. Yet, Rabastan was the only one that the male truly respected. Even over his own lover.
Rabastan had been the one to raise him, bring him into his home away from his bitch of a mother and show him true power and respect. He had never let him slip, punishing him if he had. And he had been his father’s right hand man. He truly knew, the only reason Tom got as far as he did was because Rabastan had been the one calling the shots. Which was why, even now after the downfall of Tom and Matteo’s graduation he continued to return to Rabastan. He wanted to show the world a true villain. And, he needed Rabastan on his side.
He knew he never had to knock. However, he did still make sure to clean his shoes before stepping onto the carpet. The one time Matteo had cleaned up his fresh cuts and bruises to make sure no blood got onto the furniture, and of course his cigarette had been put out before entering the place he still considered home.
Walking through the empty halls, he threw his coat onto the elf standing to the side before making his way to Rabastan’s study, knocking on the door before announcing himself. Even though he remained glued to the spot, refusing to show Rabastan little respect by opening the door himself.
”Father, It’s me.” Was all he spoke, he had started calling Rabastan father long before Tom Riddle’s second coming and downfall. And, his blood father’s death wouldn’t change anything in regards to who owned that title. When the door finally opened, he bowed his head in respect before moving over to take a seat in the spare chair, showing poise and politeness the entire time. A side only Rabastan got to see.
”Father, I wished to ask you something. Something important to me. I know i won’t feel fully confident without you by myside. So, I ask for your blessing to create my own army and bring true order to the Wizarding world. Following Grindlewald’s original documentation of demands.” He explained, he waited for a nod to continue before pulling out the original written works from Grindelwald himself. He had managed to find it back when he had broken into Dumbledore’s restricted room within Hogwarts. It had been his true reasoning for deciding to overthrow his father in his seventh year; a decision he knew Rabastan was still disappointed by. But, he hoped that his father seeing these documents would make him understand that Tom Riddle was wrong. And, Grindelwald was right. He was right.
He gently pushed the documents towards his father, showing respect the entire time. ”I found these in my sixth year. I apologise for hiding them from you, but I knew you would have shown Tom. And, I didn’t want his filthy-”He paused, searching for another set of words. ”I didn’t want my biological father to use them. I wanted only you to view them.” He finished, hands resting on his lap while he waited for his father to scan through them.
